My coworkers, especially my boss makes me feel like I'm so snutty by carrying LV's. I do not make any excuses for liking the finer things in life because I have always worked hard and I fund my LV obsession. I buy my LV's for me and me alone. I do not care what anyone has to say about it. My boss even told me, "who is going to know your bag is worth $1,200?"... I said, "Me, I'll know"... and I went on to say, "I buy my LV's for me and not for people to comment on. I only live once and I want to have had LV's in this lifetime..." I know this bag is probably old news to you LV fans out there, but when I first laid eyes on the watercolor (ok, maybe iaquarelle/i to youse) speedy 35 from 2008, I quite literally drooled all over my keyboard. And that was only a few months ago. Imagine my shock and "it was meant to be"-ishness when a pristine one turned up on Fashionphile last week! The perfect summer bag --- and luckily enough, it's summer year round where I live! I'm normally a Chanel & Bal kinda girl, and (super super silly) my most recent obsession has been the Bal Moto jacket - completely impractical (maybe even deranged) for someone who spends most of her time in Singapore. I think this was a much better choice. I love its deceptive roominess - I can actually stash an umbrella (v. necessary for S'pore, trust me), swimsuit, AND emergency flip flops in here along with all my usual wallet/lipstick/phone junk. And in a pinch, I can actually tote my computer in this thing. I'll spare you the picture so no one goes into shock at the sight of LV abuse, but it can be done. Cambridge
